Rainey Hoopes was born and raised outside of Baltimore until the age of 7. His family moved to Tampa, FL in 1997, where he attended USF and got his Bachelors in Philosophy. He moved with his parents to Taylors in 2014, and started working in a Nationwide insurance agency. In November of 2017 he married his best friend, Callie-Anne, and they live in their home in Piedmont.
Rainey was raised in the PCA, and has been an active member in several churches in Tampa, was a leader in RUF while attending USF, was a Ridge Haven counselor for three summers, and was an RUF intern for a time after college. He has been impressed and blessed by the community at Second since joining, and is desirous to faithfully apply his heart, mind, and strength to every opportunity for service that God provides.
