The Greenville Conference on Reformed Theology is a ministry of Second Presbyterian Church. Join us on October 2- 4, 2026 as we consider this year’s theme – The Covenant of Grace. Tickets are free but registration is required.
A pre-conference banquet is available on Friday evening for $10.

Speakers

Dr. David Irving
Dr. David T. Irving serves as President and Assistant Professor of Church History and Pastoral Theology at Reformed Theological Seminary in Jackson, Mississippi. A graduate of Reformed Theological Seminary (MDiv, 2015), Dr. Irving also holds a PhD from the University of Mississippi. He is the author of Devote Yourself to Prayer: A Call to Pastors. He is married to Sarah Grafton Irving, and they have four children.

Dr. David Gilbert
Dr. David Gilbert is a native of Douglasville. He came to Christ during his senior year at Clayton State University and soon discerned a call to the ministry. After earning his M.Div. from Reformed Theological Seminary in Jackson, MS, he was called to serve as Assistant Pastor of Second Presbyterian Church in Yazoo City, MS. He then served as Senior Pastor from 2007 until accepting the call to Grace Presbyterian in Douglasville. Pastor David and his wife, Michelle, have four daughters.

Dr. Richard Phillips
Richard Phillips is Senior Minister of the historic Second Presbyterian Church in Greenville, SC. He is the author of forty-five books and frequently speaks at conferences on the Bible and Reformed Theology. He is series co-editor of the Reformed Expository Commentary series (P&R).
Dr. Phillips is an adjunct professor at Westminster Theological Seminary, where he serves on the Board of Trustees as chairman of the Academic Affairs Committee. He serves on the Council of the Gospel Reformation Network. He has enjoyed a long association with the Rafiki Foundation and contributed extensively to the Rafiki Bible Study.

In addition to the in-person event, this conference will also be live streamed and recorded. Groups are welcome to gather and watch together. All times are Eastern Time. Nursery (ages 0-3) and children activities (ages 4-8) are available.
