Thank you for your interest in joining the Second Presbyterian Church family. We typically have two membership classes per year (Spring and Fall). Specific information about these classes will be listed here when available.
Membership (Fall 2024)
A new Membership Class begins Sunday, September 22, 2024. This no-obligation class meets for eight weeks. It is open to anyone interested in learning more about our beliefs or joining our church. Gather with others and our minister, Dr. Phillips, as we explore together our church distinctives.
The class is on Sunday at 9:50 am in the C-209. If you would like to learn more about Second or would like to join the church, please make plans to attend. If you have any questions, please call the church office (864) 232-7621

Communicants Class
We also provide a Communicants Class yearly for children whose parents believe their child is ready to make a credible public profession of faith in Jesus Christ. The class will instruct each child in the basics of the Christian faith and the meaning of the membership vows to be taken. Parents are welcome to attend with their child/children.
