Jeremy and Emily Weaver have called Second church their home for over twelve years. In 2010, Jeremy, Emily, and their (now) two sons moved to Greenville from Columbia following Jeremy’s work as a CPA. They joined in November of that same year. He currently works in financial services and serves as a professor at Bob Jones University teaching finance. Since joining, Jeremy has served as a deacon for nearly ten years, as treasurer, and as Sunday school teacher to the 5th and 6th grade classes for eight years. In addition, Jeremy has served as a board member for Peru Mission.
Jeremy came to saving faith as an adult reading Isaiah 55 where the call to rest in Christ came “without money, and without price.” Since then, he has grown as a child of God and his understanding of the revealed word of God through both the teaching at
our church and course work at both Reformed Theological Seminary and Greenville Presbyterian Theological Seminary. Jeremy is committed to the gospel as put forth in the reformed tradition and committed to the ministry of the local church. Jeremy and Emily enjoy hosting church family in their home and spending time together as a
family. Their two sons are communing members and are involved in the youth program. They attend Bob Jones Academy for school.
