Dr. Kevin M. Mobley married his college sweetheart, Shannon. They are blessed with 10 children from the Lord. He received God’s call on his life as a young child and was raised in the Christian faith. During the years after college, he developed an increased passion and understanding of the reformed doctrines giving him a desire to find a strong, reformed church in which to raise their family. He feels truly blessed that the Lord has chosen to provide such a rare jewel of healthy, reformed, expository Gospel-centered teaching as Second Presbyterian.
He and his family joined Second in March, 2009. He was installed as a Deacon in December, 2011 and began serving on the Sympathy and Service Committee. He has also served as a Sunday school/youth teacher and usher and attends the Young Adult Sunday School class. He is eternally thankful and humbled for the blessing of Second Presbyterian and finds hope as a believer in Paul’s teaching describing the Christian’s standing before a holy God in Romans 5:1-2: “Therefore, since we have been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. Through Him, we have also obtained access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and we rejoice in hope of the glory of God.”
