Sean has been happily married to Gerilyn since 2006; they are parents to Andrew and Elizabeth. Prior to meeting Gerilyn, Sean was a full-time single dad raising two boys on his own: Chris and Brendan who are both now grown and married living in Nebraska and Colorado respectively. Having lived in three countries, ten states, and over
twenty metro- areas throughout his life, Sean moved the family to Greenville (Gerilyn’s hometown) in 2018.
Sean’s Christian walk has been eclectic: raised as a young child in the Episcopalian church, receiving Baptist influence in his teen years, and settling into non-denominational congregations as a young adult. However, he has never known a time when Christ was not real to him. Throughout his marriage to Gerilyn, they have both grown in their knowledge and appreciation for reformed tenets of the faith and more recently, covenant theology. In the process, his faith has also grown exponentially. They discovered Second Pres in the summer of 2020 and immediately were drawn to its solid Biblical teachings and warm, family-like congregation. They were blessed to join Second in the spring of 2021.
Sean works from home as the Senior Director of Aerospace & Defense for Xylem, an international water technology company. He & his family enjoy spending time outdoors, traveling, and serving together and have been greatly blessed by our church family.
