Bio
As a newborn, Daniel was adopted from a difficult situation into the loving family of Scott and Sarah Grubbs. Daniel was raised in a strong Christian home and at the age of twelve made a personal decision to accept Jesus Christ as his Savior. When he was fifteen, he and his family joined Second Presbyterian Church, and he became involved with the youth by leading the Wednesday Night worship sessions. Just after Daniel turned sixteen, his younger brother Jeffrey went home to be with the Lord. God worked in a mighty way through this tragedy and grew Daniel immensely.
After losing his younger brother, Daniel was used by God to minister to many others. He enjoyed leading youth bible studies, taught devotionals in multiple non-church youth events and was able to lead many to Christ. Under the ministry of Gabe Fluhrer, Jim McCarthy and Scott Cook, Daniel was able to learn about apologetics and evangelism.
When he was eighteen, Daniel began a serious relationship with his high school sweetheart Madison. After four years of dating, Daniel and Madison were married at the church in December of 2017. Daniel graduated from North Greenville University with a degree in Marketing and currently works as a Graphic Designer and at Back40Life in Travelers Rest.
Daniel is passionate about serving in the church. He has enjoyed serving in the choir, helping with VBS and occasionally helping during the Wednesday Night fellowship supper.
