Ron was raised in a loving Christian family in Cocoa Beach Florida, and by God’s grace he doesn’t remember a time when he did not know the Lord in personal saving faith.
He was homeschooled K-12 and then left the Space Coast for the mountains of central Virginia to attend Liberty University, where he met his wife Jenny-Lynn. It was also at Liberty that they both began to form Presbyterian and Reformed convictions; they have been in the OPC and PCA ever since, and Ron has served as a deacon in both denominations.
After living in Charlottesville for 8 years and with their family beginning to grow, they moved to the upstate to be closer to his sister and her family. They live on the West end of downtown Greenville, where Ron works from home as a Senior Director for S&P Global Market Intelligence. They have four daughters – Afton, Ponder, Rose, and Winnie — who all attend Greenville Classical Academy, where Ron also serves on the Board.
As a family, they enjoy traveling, being outdoors, and opening their home for fellowship.
They have all been immensely blessed by joining and plugging into Second Church.
