Shortly after marrying his wife Cindy, they attended a Baptist
Church. Their pastor visited them and shared the gospel and
asked him if he would go to heaven when he died. This got Richard thinking. Very soon after that, during a church service, the Holy Spirit made it clear to him that he was a sinner and had no hope without Jesus. He repented of his sins and asked Jesus to save him. He thanks God every day for his new life in Christ and seeks to honor Him. Scripture tells us that He is sovereign and faithful and he has learned this to be true. Richard and Cindy have two sons and six daughters.
