Sports & Fellowship, Class of 2018

Chad Scoggins grew up in the small town of Abbeville, SC. After high school he began working for Norfolk Southern Railroad in 1999, as a conductor. In 2006 he was promoted to Locomotive Engineer. He has been married to his wife Andi since 2000. They lived in Columbia for three years until transferring to Greenville in 2002. They have three girls, Ashton, Reese, and Trystan.

Chad was raised in the United Methodist faith, greatly impacted by the faith of his maternal grandparents, who faithfully took him to church. After marrying Andi he began to learn about the Presbyterian faith. Together, they searched for a church that taught Biblical truths. They found answers when they started attending Second Presbyterian in 2003. Chad, hungry for answers, read everything he could about the reformed faith. This, along with the faithful teaching and preaching of the word brought him to a saving faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. It is now his greatest desire to serve wholeheartedly this church and his Savior and to see the advancement of the gospel.
